Soundness TCG - Combat Directives

1. MISSION OBJECTIVE

Breach enemy defenses and reduce their System Integrity (HP) to 0. You suffer a critical system failure (lose) if your HP reaches 0 or your Data Deck runs out of scripts (Fatigue).

2. DATA TYPES (CARDS)

NODES (MONSTERS): Primary combat units featuring ATK and DEF stats. Deployable in ATTACK (Vertical) or DEFENSE (Horizontal) mode.

HACKS (SPELLS): Instant execution scripts to reinforce your Nodes or manipulate the battlefield network.

FIREWALLS (TRAPS): Installed face-down. These defense mechanisms trigger automatically to intercept enemy attacks.

3. COMBAT PROTOCOL

During an attack, your Node's ATK clashes with the target's stats. If the target is in Attack mode, the weaker Node is terminated, and the ATK difference damages the owner's System Integrity. If the target is in Defense mode, its DEF absorbs the impact.

4. MANUAL OVERRIDE (SWITCHING MODES)

To change a Node's stance between Attack and Defense during MAIN 1 or MAIN 2:

1. SELECT: Click a Node already deployed on your field.

2. SCAN: Look at the SCANNER PANEL (Left side of the terminal).

3. SWITCH: Press the gold/red SWITCH button to rotate your Node. (Limited to one change per turn per Node).

5. EXECUTION PHASES

M1 (MAIN 1): Deploy Nodes, execute Hacks, or install Firewalls.

BATTLE: Command your Nodes to initiate offensive routines.

M2 (MAIN 2): Secondary deployment phase post-combat.

END: Terminate your session and yield terminal access.

6. MIGRATION SYNC & QUANTUM SHIELD

The Post-Quantum Stack is your terminal's cryptographic engine. Every action is validated via ZKP, and safely executing cards contributes to your MIGRATION_SYNC.

• Nodes: +10%
• Spells & Traps: +20%
Legendary Cards: +40% (Enterprise Fast-Track)

[!] SEAMLESS PROTECTION:
Reaching 100% Sync automatically deploys a QUANTUM SHIELD that cuts the next incoming damage by 50%. The shield operates in the background, requiring no manual activation.

7. RANK PROGRESSION & REWARDS

Your combat efficiency is tracked through Campaign Mode. Ascend through the system tiers by accumulating 100 Rank Points (RP) per tier.
